VOICE (Voluntary Organization In Community Education) was established in 1988 by a diverse group of philanthropists, development workers, and professionals from various sectors of public life. This secular, non-profit organization operates as a grassroots relief and development facilitator, aiming to foster transformed communities with sustainable outcomes. Regardless of religion, caste, race, ethnicity, or gender, VOICE is dedicated to the holistic well-being of the poor and marginalized, who occupy the lowest socioeconomic strata in society. Since 1988, VOICE has been active in the Kadap district of Andhra Pradesh, focusing its efforts on empowering socioeconomically disadvantaged groups, particularly women, youth, and children. Within these demographics, special attention is given to the most vulnerable and marginalized individuals, including minorities, widows, the physically impaired, and the elderly. Guided by five core values, VOICE ensures that its operations align with its principles and ethos: Transparency: VOICE maintains open and comprehensible decision-making processes, allowing members and the wider community to understand the rationale behind its actions.
